Knowledge that reaches every Ambulance, Everywhere
Free, evidence-based prehospital care resources created by clinicians and translated for real-world use across global health systems.
The Prehospital Care Library is a free, open-access repository of reference guides, textbooks, and educational material for people working in pre-hospital care.
All resources are produced in multiple languages; English, Arabic, French, Swahili, Portuguese, Mandarin, Spanish and Hindi, so they can be used directly by colleagues all over the world.
The Pre-Hospital Care Library is ran by a small group of pre-hospital care clinicians based in different countries, with a passion for education and service development. We have seen a need for clinical resources and educational material in languages other than English, as well as context specific for developing health systems.
This is not a programme, a training organisation, or a charity. It is simply a way to share useful, evidence-based resources between colleagues, for day-to-day use on ambulances and in stations, from clinicians, for clinicians.
All orders are posted monthly from our central distribution site, with most requests being delivered in less than 6 weeks, anywhere in the world!
We have sent over 5350 reference guides to eight countries for thousands of clinicians to use. The countries currently using our resources include:
- Côte d’Ivoire
- Niger
- Botswana
- Uganda
- Rwanda
- Kenya
- Nigeria
- India
